Student Support

Massachusetts Mayflower Academy is dedicated to supporting all students and will always work to accommodate accessibility needs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). 

Learning Coaches

Each Mass Mayflower Academy student must have a learning coach at home to help track student progress and proctor exams. The learning coach, student, and school liaison will establish a strong partnership to help ensure the student is successful in their high school pursuits.


All Mass Mayflower Academy courses are instructor-led on an asynchronous, semester schedule. As part of our high touch model, teachers are in class on a daily basis and provide support to students in private student chats, as well as in class discussions and group project spaces. Teachers arrange for individual synchronous sessions if needed and are expected to accommodate reasonable IEP or 504 accommodations when documentation is provided to the school.

Guidance Counselors

Each Mass Mayflower Academy student will work with a guidance counselor to assist students with course placement and scheduling. The guidance counselor will also monitor the educational progress of each student and help ensure the student is provided with the school resources necessary to reach his or her individual potential. The guidance counselor also assists with any accomodations the student needs and helps the student with college and career planning.

Staff Support

The Massachusetts Mayflower Academy staff is dedicated to helping students and parents with any issue - technical, curricular or other - as quickly as possible. Any inquiry via phone at 978-897-1900 will be answered by a live staff member between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm M-F ET. All other inquiries will receive a response within 24 hours.
